Care Instructions
Care Instructions
🪴 General care: Moderate to High
Monstera Thai Constellation is a highly sought-after and stunning houseplant known for its unique, marbled white and green variegation. While it requires a bit more attention than some other varieties, it’s a rewarding addition for those who appreciate beautiful foliage and have some experience with plant care.
💦 Water: Moderate
Water your Monstera Thai Constellation when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry, usually every 1-2 weeks. It prefers slightly moist but well-draining soil. Be careful not to overwater, as this can lead to root rot, especially with its sensitive roots.
During the winter months, reduce watering frequency as the plant’s growth slows.
☀️ Light: Bright Indirect
This plant thrives in bright, indirect light, which helps maintain its stunning variegation. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light can cause the variegation to fade and result in more green growth.
Aim for a spot with plenty of filtered light to encourage vibrant growth and maintain the beautiful patterns on the leaves.
🌱 Growth: Climbing with striking variegated leaves
Monstera Thai Constellation is a climbing plant that features large, heart-shaped leaves with unique white marbling and splashes. Each leaf can vary greatly in its pattern, making every plant unique and a true centerpiece in any collection.
✂️ Maintenance: Moderate to High
This plant requires moderate to high maintenance to maintain its variegation. Regular pruning can help control its size and shape. Remove any mostly green leaves to encourage new variegated growth.
Wipe the leaves occasionally to keep them dust-free and enhance their ability to photosynthesize. Providing a moss pole or trellis for support will allow it to climb and produce larger, more vibrant leaves as it matures. Proper humidity (ideally above 50%) can also enhance its overall health and appearance.
