Pink Princess Philodendron
Pink Princess Philodendron stands out with its stunning pink and dark green leaves, featuring large, waxy foliage up to 9 inches long and 5 inches wide. The pink coloring results from low chlorophyll levels, while the green areas are essential for photosynthesis.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
🪴 General care: Moderate
Philodendron Pink Princess is a beautiful, rare plant known for its striking pink and green variegated leaves. It requires moderate care but is perfect for plant enthusiasts looking for a show-stopping addition to their collection. While it may need a bit more attention to maintain its pink variegation, it’s generally easy to grow indoors.
💦 Water: Moderate
Water Philodendron Pink Princess when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry, typically every 1-2 weeks. This plant prefers to be kept slightly moist but not soggy. Overwatering can cause root rot, so make sure the pot has good drainage.
In the winter, reduce watering frequency as the plant’s growth slows.
☀️ Light: Bright Indirect
Bright, indirect light is ideal for maintaining the beautiful pink variegation on the leaves. Too much direct sunlight can cause the pink portions to burn, while too little light may reduce the amount of pink in the leaves, causing them to revert to green.
A balance of bright, indirect light will help promote vibrant, healthy variegation.
🌱 Growth: Upright with pink variegated leaves
Philodendron Pink Princess grows as an upright, vining plant. Its dark green leaves are splashed with bright pink variegation, giving it a unique and eye-catching appearance. New leaves often have a pink hue that fades into a mix of pink and green as they mature.
✂️ Maintenance: Moderate
This plant requires moderate maintenance, mainly to encourage its pink variegation. Regularly prune any leaves that are mostly green to encourage more pink growth. Removing leggy or damaged growth also helps the plant stay healthy and bushier.
Wipe the leaves occasionally to keep them dust-free and ensure they can properly photosynthesize. Providing a moss pole or other support will help the plant climb and produce larger, more vibrant leaves.
